I'm in love. I was going to go for the Kitchenaid branded version but took a chance after reading the reviews. That is amazing. I have had manual versions in the past and have had issues with some products remaining on the handlebars. They just started spinning and became very crippled. It's durable and feels well made. The blades are sharp and (so far) cut through apples, potatoes and zucchini with ease. My only complaint is that the knife is not adjustable. Sometimes it seems to me that it eats so deeply into the food that I lose a decent amount. So I decided not to use a scrub. But frankly, it's so insignificant because the result is a spiral, and the variety of thicknesses and types is outstanding. (although the insignia on the blade could be wrong - or just confusing me. But it's so easy to get used to). Apple Cake. I'm sure there are still many uses I have yet to discover.
