Just put mine in and they look amazing! Do not use the supplied plastic pipe anchors as they are junk (break easily, fall through a hole or twist in place when screwing). Get your own ribbed or tapered plastic anchors! I didn't use batteries while working. I think the LED light is too bright and obviously makes it look fake. I've never seen a flashing light like this on a real security camera. Keep the batteries and install WITHOUT them. Looks great! And make sure you mount it where you would put a real camera. A good placement can make them real.
