Review on 🎶 PHILIPS FX10 Bluetooth Stereo System: CD Player, MP3, USB, FM Radio, Bass Reflex Speaker, 230W, Remote Control Included by Mido Taylor

I have a similar Sony CMTSBT100 micro music system. This Philips system beats it in several important respects: quieter CD player, faster system start-up and CD loading, slightly better sound, louder volume. It's also a good, comparable size. However, I have a few problems. You cannot use headphones with this device. There is no headphone jack, and Bluetooth-enabled headphones don't work either. Also, CDs will play as soon as they are loaded; "play" is automatic by default. The speaker cables are connected to the main unit using branded plugs. The equalizer is run by selecting one of several presets (rock, jazz, pop, samba, techno). There is a bass boost, but no individual bass or treble adjustment. FM only (no AM). Management tries to make IKEA (a few words) but fails miserably. Finally, I don't like the optics - I prefer my Sony far out of town. But I would leave Philips if it had a headphone jack.
