I hate those rubber blocks that hold bits with friction because bits are heavy and almost impossible to remove with one hand. This holder holds the bits with a magnet. The magnet is strong enough to easily hold the bits in place when the holder is turned upside down, but not so strong that it is difficult to remove the bits with one hand. This holder probably won't work if you're looking for something to carry bits in your tool bag, but it's great if you have a flat surface to mount it on, especially if that surface is iron or steel, because this bit holder has a magnetic base. You could probably even stick it to a vertical metal surface and it would still hold bits well.
