Oh it's "easy to remove". but I bet he would retreat if he was on a vertical surface. The magnet on the bottom really serves to keep it upright when sitting on a metal surface. In fact, it won't stick to the side of a drawer or tool box etc with bits in it. Also, the magnet won't hold the bits in the holder anyway. I was expecting this to keep the bit from falling out when it's at an angle. Overall I believe you get what you pay for.

This is good for storing the bits I use the most. It would be nice if there were bigger holes so you can insert the nut's big end down. It holds the beats very well and looks well made. I hate those rubber blocks that hold bits with friction because bits are heavy and almost impossible to remove with one hand. This holder holds the bits with a magnet. Does the job but I have to say I wasn't impressed upon unboxing. Product images make the main body look shiny and polished like it's made of harder plastic. In reality, the case has a softer matte matte finish, which I have mixed feelings about. garbage magnet. You can't use it for decent bits. Your smallest bits can't stay vertical, but no other bits will. If you put 2" bits in it and stand it upright on your toolbox, they'll fall out quickly. Nothing that locks into an impact wrench can be used in this one. I write a lot for an online off-road magazine. I bought this tool to help pack my trail tools. I have a few comments straight out of the gate. 1) The distribution of the holes is well done, but they are too deep for some of the bits to magnetize properly. If the bit is a normal width throughout its length, no problem. I bought this to use in one of the metal trays I made for my toolbox. My idea was to put a magnetized base on the vertical side of the tray and use a holder to hold the bits horizontally.
