I'm using it with an M1 laptop as my main computer and a late 2014 iMac as my monitor. Not so much that it's unusable, but enough that it's a minor annoyance. It uses a wireless connection by default, but supports wired connections in some cases, which I think will help reduce lag. But it requires Thunderbolt 3, and my iMac only supports Thunderbolt 2, so that's not an option in my case (Luna Support, if you're listening, please let me know if I'm wrong!) Luna is clear about this only this will work for specific combinations of computers and devices, so check compatibility before purchasing. But if your stuff is compatible, it's a useful, if imperfect, device.
