1) If you can see it or touch it, it's plastic: Some the internal components could be metal and give it weight. That being said, it doesn't feel any more or less premium than the dual shock, which I think is a quarter the price at the moment. 2) To make changes to your configuration, you must disconnect the controller, connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and make changes from the application. Which brings me to 3) The problem I'm running into, which should have been changed by the latest firmware but clearly not, at least not for all controllers, is that you have to create a new profile. Every time you connect, it's a huge pain. 4) Don't choose D-Pad or Thumbsticks.
