This is my first time replacing this cleaning pad. I find this to be a very effective grill cleaner that I clean after every grill. I usually use a grill brush to remove heavy debris, but the brush never cleans the grill bars. This product does an excellent job of cleaning the grill bars and preparing them for the application of oil to prepare the grill for the next use. They pull on the ends of the steel bars, which gradually wears down the pads, requiring them to be replaced every few months depending on use.
