Very easy to install. It took less than 10 minutes from the moment I removed the door to the moment I reinstalled it. I have a French Bulldog Pug mix that weighs about 30 pounds. I chose this cat hole as it's more of an oval shape and not as big as the others. My pup can't get through here and doesn't try. He likes to look through just to look down. Our cats can get here easily and quickly when needed. Thanks to the template, this is easy to place. I was expecting more problems but to be honest it was easier than expected. My first cut worked and there is no wobble or bottlenecks. The plastic itself is pleasant and doesn't look cheap. Looks pretty easy to clean even when it gets dirty.
