Headphone Coil Metal Detector

I am using spare headphones as patch cords for the Minelab Equinox 800 WM-08 module. I feel the usable length is 2 to 4 feet as advertised and I just clip the WM-08 to my shirt or hat. If you plan to tie the WM-08 to your waist, get something longer as the cord will stretch over time as you move. This coiled cord works perfectly and 2 for $10 isn't bad.
