We bought this key for our 2017 Kia Sorento LX V6 because we bought a used car and it only came with one key. After recovering from the lockout with our only key inside and seeing that the dealership was asking $400, I looked for another way to get a second key. I saw that the FCC ID on this key matched our original, so I took a chance and ordered it. A local locksmith (thanks ACME Locksmith in Mesa, Arizona!) was able to cut the key and program it in under an hour for $100, so I ended up getting a second, genuine Kia key for less than $100. half of what the local dealer wanted.
