Review on Building Pieces 🐒 for Monkeys - Learning Resources by Jeff Bourke

My son has the original set, so I decided to buy him this as well. This is a good sized set that has all the features of the original plus monkey elements, trees and a few other unique features. I assembled it (only 1 time) following the instructions and it was quite impressive, a single move sets the whole jungle in motion. However, my son quickly took it apart and now we use it like the original. He bends cars and towers with connectors and prefers assembling wheels to boards (he is 3 years old). I also like that the set can be used with other Gears sets. While some comments have mentioned that it's difficult to put everything together with instructions, I have to say I disagree. Yes, a 3 year old may not be able to do this alone, but this set still allows for creativity and uses beyond the classroom model.
