Ideal for swimming pools, not suitable for sand.

These were great water shoes, comfortable and perfect for my little one. My only complaint is that we bought them for the river and the small openings allow sand to pass between them. Layers of fabric that could not be pulled out. I ended up having to throw them away :( If you buy them to wear to the water park/pool even though they are perfect!
