Review on 🔧 Loctite 222 Threadlocker for Automotive: High-Temp, Low-Strength, Anaerobic Solution - Purple 6mL Tube by Travis Karren

There are some applications (for me at least) where this would be preferable to 242 . Use it for very small screws where you are afraid to apply a lot of torque. It's probably made by the same people as blue (242) and red (271), but the design of the container is slightly different, and my 222 container isn't airtight either. In both my 242 and 271 I can squeeze the plastic to force out excess air, screw the lid on and the reservoirs remain deflated. But at tank 222, the air leaks back almost immediately. I don't expect this Loctite to last as long as my other Loctite due to this quality control issue. Also, I paid about 50% more for it than it cost me £242. I gave the product 4 stars because it does what it's supposed to: low grip with small screws. However, I doubt I would buy it again.
