Quite strong and heavy. The magnet is really strong. What I like is that the elongated part of the ball of the longer part gently shrinks inwards and then slowly expands outwards. And the button extension on the smaller part (I think it's called the doorstop) moves in and out too. Thus there is a double buffer compression effect. What I don't like is the very cheap fixings they provide for drywall installation when there is no bolt behind the doorstop. The probability that the hairpin is just outside the edge of the door is small. They should have expected that most people would need drywall fasteners and they should have provided decent ones, especially since this product is almost double the price of others like Stanley. I also don't like low-quality instructions on a small piece of paper. No diagrams, no part numbers (only references to "Part A" and "Part B"). Wrong grammar. There is no excuse for that. The product also includes some additional parts with long screws and bushings, the purpose of which is a mystery to me. Of course, this is not mentioned in the instructions. Product made in China.
