I heard mixed reviews so I waited over a year to finally take the plunge and buy it. It's definitely expensive for a glass cleaner, but MAN, MAN, it's worth the money! Poor placement of rocks made many areas of my tank unreachable for the old magnetic scraper and stick scrapers I bought earlier. And my glass is very thick, so the magnetic fought all but the lightest of algae build-up. But this BEAST of a magnet (God help you if your fingers get stuck between two pieces!) and a strong metal end of a scraper quickly dealt with stubborn coralline algae and dense greenery in previously inaccessible corners, easily squeezed between stone and glass, and I am even climbed under my lantern to a higher waterline. I didn't quite understand the flip technique, but I don't see any good reason not to keep using it on the scraper side so that it wouldn't be a problem. In short, my aquarium has never been cleaner and I HIGHLY recommend this product.
