They are functional in our 6L Instant Pot Duo Evo, but not as secure as the original. They're similar to the original, except they're shorter so the top is flush with the lid when it's on, and they're silver instead of red. The brevity tends to tempt the wearer to feel the upper to see if the pressure has eased, and the silver color doesn't discourage that. The combination poses a significant risk of second-degree vapor burns to the fingertip. The red permanent color at the top is a worthy replacement, but design differences make it unsafe for novice Instant Pot users. I will look for the best solution.
