Review on Cooler Master SK650 Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Low Profile Switches & Brushed Aluminum Design in Black Layout - Full Features by Bridgette Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice and fun to print. There is only one problem...

The lighting is nice and I like the lighting control on the CM keyboard which makes this keyboard compatible with any operating system (I use it with Linux). The keyboard is also very comfortable, and while I'm still not sure I like the flat keycaps, they include a set of keycaps so I can switch out if I want to. The big problem is that the keyboard isn't very good. in the job he has above all - typing. Several keys are having trouble generating 0 to 3 characters per keypress. I tried to change my writing style, I experimented with different levels of pressure. Nothing works consistently so I like the feel of the keys but I can't use it as a keyboard. On the other hand, CM gave me an RMA and I'm sending the keyboard in for warranty right now. On the other hand, I pay for one-way shipping, so this "wonderful" keyboard costs me more money. If CM returns me a working keyboard I will change this rating. I would encourage anyone who receives this keyboard to torment it as part of the Revain return window. If your keyboard has the same issues as mine, it's best to send it back to Revain who will do the shipping. One more note: I'm printing this on my new Cooler Master CK550v2. It doesn't come in a velor pouch and doesn't have a second set of keycaps, but it prints each letter as many times as I want. The spacebar was a little tight at first (especially compared to the SK650) but seems to have become more flexible. In short, I'm a fan of Cooler Master keyboards and I hope they make the SK650 work again. For now though, I'd recommend the CK550v2 instead.
