This was a surprise purchase that worked exactly as advertised. The only criticism one could make would be to make more of an edge for fingers to press on as it becomes quite narrow and difficult to thread the corn down. But it worked great! We only got half way down but had to give up as our fingers hurt when we pressed with pressure. However, it worked. better than cutting corn with a knife.
