First the rim arrived with no fittings or grille, just the rim. I called Lifetime and they sent me the necessary equipment and network. And now, after 3 months of operation, the rim broke in the place where the V-shaped support under the rim was welded to the bracket. Here the last one broke and required a rim change. It's not the weld that breaks, it's the weld that breaks off the bracket. I'll look into other rim options, although the bolt holes will need to be changed to get the correct spacing. By the way, I'm an old man with a 2" vertical jump, so that doesn't mean I overuse the monster rim. dunks
