Review on Maximize Closet Space With FANHAO 2-Tier Expandable Shoe Rack: Adjustable, Stackable, And Rust-Resistant by Aaron Martin

Needs Better Quality Control

As I was assembling the rack, it was very hard to get the screw on one of the poles. Upon further inspection, I suspect the black paint had gotten in the threads and had made it narrower (see photo). I eventually made it work after some elbow grease. In addition, on one of the outer supports (where poles get screwed into), it was soldered at an angle, so that when the poles are in, they point down. The poles are on there under stress as we speak, so not sure how long they will last before something gives. After I finally assembled the rack, it was difficult to adjust (probably because of the soldering issue), but I got it fully extended - about 32 inches. As I set my shoes on there, I noticed it wasn't wide enough to fit 4 pairs, it only allowed me to fit 3.5 pairs, and I'm a size 9 men's. Why would anyone design a rack that can only fit 3.5 pairs with one of the most common shoe sizes?Overall, the quality is not worth the price.
