I have three of these sharpeners in my class and I LOVE them. On average, 30-40 pencils are sharpened every day. With a traditional horizontal sharpener, the sharpener literally eats up half of the pencil before the pencil becomes sharp. With iPoint there is minimal loss of pencil length. It sharpens pencils to an extremely sharp quality and takes seconds to resharpen. My students love this sharpener because you can hear and feel when the pencil is sharp. The transparent chip container is also great because the students always know when to empty it. A quick unscrew and the contents slide out. Only once in the 5 months that I've owned these sharpeners has the lead got stuck (which is common with traditional sharpeners). and when it happened i just turned it on the outside and it fell out. I love this pencil sharpener so much I sent the link to my manager to consider having one in every room.
