Review on Revolutionary New Microsoft Surface Slim Pen: Enhancing Precision and Portability by Joyce Swihart

Installation was easy. I like the shape of this carpenter's pencil, but I've read that people like it. The battery lasts a while and the magnetic charging stand is good. Only complaint: I wish Microsoft would turn on a specific LED color so you know when it's fully charged. I chose this because I originally had the bundled version and didn't like it. The included keyboard (integrated charging cradle) with the Surface Slim Pen was annoying as it was mounted slightly higher (on the bottom bezel) than this version when connected to the Surface Pro X. As a result, it would sometimes block the bottom of the screen (harder to see and click). Also, the bundled version doesn't have magnets in the center (because that's where the charging dock and Surface Slim Pen are located), so the keyboard isn't as stable (wobbles) when in use. The only benefit (I'm picky here) of the bundled version is slightly better texture on the keyboard. Overall, I highly recommend these two products.
