Description of Revolutionary New Microsoft Surface Slim Pen: Enhancing Precision and Portability

New design is thin, light, and easy to hold and control. Tilt the tip to shade your drawings just like you would with a graphite pencil. An eraser on the tail end rubs away your mistakes, just like the eraser on your graphite pencil. Writes like pen on paper, with precision inking tip on one end that enables tilt and an eraser on the other. Sketch, shade, and paint with artistic precision and exceptional control with 4, 096 pressure points that respond to the lightest touch.

Not recommended for notes.

Stylish look. Robust construction. Feels good in hand. BUT no resistance when writing on the surface. Fantasy with a ballpoint pen writing on glass, this is what it looks like. Not recommended for notes. I wish Microsoft would solve this problem by making the tip interchangeable.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Hard to say

Finally a great surface pen

This pen is great. It works way better than any other digital pen, including the Microsoft Surface Pen I've used before. These pens made me hate digital pens and considered them useless. Not with this pen. It lies comfortably in the hand and is easy to use. I much prefer that. I've already bought a few backups to use so I don't have to worry too much if I lose one while traveling or at work. . Yes, they are certainly expensive, but comparatively preferable.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Not sure

Buyers beware of bug

I know Microsoft hasn't confirmed this yet, but this pen seems to have some buggy behavior with Surface Book 3. There are several reports on the internet about the traditional stylus working fine while this button causes the touchscreen to accidentally turn off. I've already encountered this error and the only solution is to restart the device. It's not a deal breaker, but I think it should be noted that if you're looking for a great user experience and you own a Surface Book 3, you should get…

  • I'm holding my fists

  • There's bug

Not as pleasant as I had hoped.

Choose an expensive Microsoft Pen in the hope of better results. Well, to be honest, the regular $30 Surface pen is better than this $100 pen. I sent it back after 1 hour of use. The first issue is that the magnets to hold the handle on the side are NOT positioned correctly. Just one at a time will be enough. I was afraid that thing would fall off. The second problem - the response is a little delayed. It's not bad. But noticeable. I can adapt to it, but I don't have to. The third problem is…

  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Great product with charging station.

Installation was easy. I like the shape of this carpenter's pencil, but I've read that people like it. The battery lasts a while and the magnetic charging stand is good. Only complaint: I wish Microsoft would turn on a specific LED color so you know when it's fully charged. I chose this because I originally had the bundled version and didn't like it. The included keyboard (integrated charging cradle) with the Surface Slim Pen was annoying as it was mounted slightly higher (on the bottom bezel)…

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • Not sure

This is not a writing pen

Microsoft's slim pen has a good design and feels good when you hold it in your hand. However, I do take notes (using Windows Journal or OneNote) and this pen is inferior to the standard Microsoft Surface Pen. The standard pen gives you a choice of different nibs, and as a writer I like the feel of the nib, which offers some resistance, similarly like an eraser in a thin pencil. The thin handle does not allow you to change tips. The tip gives the feeling of writing on ice. As you age, you will…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Very impressed with this Surface Pens update. Gliding across the screen is a big improvement, the flat shape has changed a bit but I really like it and it's comfortable to hold and write on. I don't draw or make art, I use handwriting recognition instead of typing and this pen works great. The dock is very well made, the handle locks in place and doesn't move so when thrown into a bag the dock turns into a bag. Pros: The feel of a pen on the screen. Rechargeable, easy-to-find AAAA batteries…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I won't say anything
