I have a '93 Explorer and a '91 Isuzu Soldier. I've used them on both although I had to drill out the upper shock mounts on the Isuzu to fit them, they are actually for a bigger car than both of my. These bushings noticeably improved ride and knock noise on both trucks. They both had shocks with remaining life (KYB throttle setting on the fuse, they'll outlive the truck) but the original bushings/bushings were old and cracked so there was movement prior to installation. It's also a good idea to press out the lower shock bushings and replace them with a power suspension replacement.
