I have five children between the ages of 3 and 11. They are not fond of toothbrushes. If there's a sucker underneath, they play with it (at least the younger ones). The bristles on these toothbrushes were very good. Not too hard, not too soft, gentle on gums but hard enough to clean. But the bottom of the toothbrushes started to fall apart. I was actually a bit surprised because although my kids are bad with toothbrushes, we've never had one that fell apart like that. I wouldn't say it broke the deal - we can still use toothbrushes - but it's worth noting.
