Works great - and saved 19 hours of MiniDV footage!

This bilingual cable was used to connect an old Sony DCR-TRV10 camcorder with a 4 pin FireWire 400 port to a mid 2012 MacBook Pro with a 9 pin FireWire 800 port ( (unlike another similar cable I bought that said it was NOT bilingual) which saved me about 19 hours of footage from old MiniDV tapes.
