Review on Sommelier's Wine Brush Washing Kit Set - Brushtech (Set of 3) - White by Judy Spillman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Finally found what I was looking for.

I'm not a wine lover, so I didn't know what to call the ball-shaped "brush" that broke recently that I've loved for years to use to clean my coffee pot and "sipper" cups Me do not make sponges, which may contain residual fat. Looking through the descriptions, I wasn't sure if what I was seeing was exactly what I wanted until someone used the term "suede" to describe the brush. YUP! That's what I wanted. I've only used a round brush so far, but I'm expecting lots of fun with a pulled-out carafe brush to clean the narrow-necked glass bottles I keep freshly squeezed lime and lemon juice in. It is almost impossible to remove the pulp from the walls. I expect it to be way better than the regular "bottle brushes" with stiff bristles that don't fit around the neck. My original round brush lasted for years and I washed it in the dishwasher at least once a month. I would still use them if the wire handle in the brush hadn't rusted! I would say these are very good values.
