Washing machine drain drained slowly and leaked onto the floor while emptying the washing machine. I also want to make a backup in Stock Utility. Bought based on reviews from Revain. I like to trust these reviews to be honest so others can make a reasonably informed purchase. Read the instructions and try it. I had visions of burst pipes, flooded laundry, my wife, whoever came to mind, everything. Connected it to the hose. I connected the hose to the toilet faucet. I stuck the rubber thing down the drain as far as I could. Slowly turn on the water as instructed. The sound of running water is heard, and then a sound resembling vibrations in the sewers. Leave on for about 5 minutes. and then took it out of the sewers after the water was shut off. I repeated the process one more time, but not as deep into the sewers. Sound again and let it run for about 5 minutes. Then he took it out of the sewers and turned off the water. Filled the washing machine and ran it, then emptied it. No overflow from the drain pipe and back to the sink. The last time I had a drain problem it cost me $438. I don't know exactly how it works, nor do I need to know. But I know IT WORKS. The only thing I don't like is that it took me so long to discover this amazing tool. Every home should have one.
