This is the best WiFi LED controller I have ever tested. Nice transition between colors, easy to connect if you have "normal" RGB LED strips (instead of complex ones with a chip that requires a DATA pin). B, WW, CW (last two are warm white and cool white but you don't need to use them if your led strip doesn't have white leds (instead make it white by setting R, G, B to "full") Or use it as a white led dimmer or as a night light, in which case use WW or CW connections The app is pretty cool but I also found the full protocol documentation, search jpelectron WIFi LED Control and you will find it it Simple direct connection (the box broadcasts its own WiFi SSID for you to connect to) or you can set it up in the app to connect to your home WiFi, as long as your smartphone also connects to your home WiFi Connected to wifi the app finds it and it just works.It also runs a small web server where you can configure most of the settings just by looking at the module's IP in a browser.
