Revainrating 4 out of 5

4.5/5 100% recommend

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Nearly perfect. What I like: - Small. Small enough to put on a keychain and forget about it. I don't want no knuckle, no shish kebab, no shish kebab. Just a toothpick that I use to pull food out of my teeth and maybe sometimes poke a hole or pick something out. - Strong. Thick walls that won't flex in your pocket or be pressed against your keys, which in most cases it will. The needle itself also seems strong. The pointed end is sharp but not quite like a needle. Almost like a wooden toothpick. Use it as gently as a regular toothpick and you won't have any problems with your gums or between your teeth. quality and execution. The material is excellent and the chamfers, edges, threads and knurling on the pick/screw part are first class. In addition, the tube has a light texture. The one that makes a zipper-zipper-zipper sound when you run your fingernail back and forth across it. It also gives it a somewhat satin finish that doesn't show fingerprints or other debris as easily. Much better than a polished or anodized finish. - The container in which it is delivered. Metal box with foam. Does it look like aluminum or tin? (Edit - Seen in the question part where the seller said the box was also made of titanium). There is no plastic bag here. How often does a review state what box the item was in? I love it because it's so handy and can be used to store and organize other small items. Just take out the foam holding the pick and there is another foam pad on the bottom. You can take it off to have more space or just leave it inside. The top slides far forward and is held in place fairly well thanks to a small latch that pushes against the lid. When you buy this you get a handy case which might seem silly in one review but I love the little box it comes in and thought it was worth mentioning. If they make other versions of this product I hope they use the same packaging. - Built-in keychain hole. Thank God. I don't want a tiny key fob on my keychain. The little one may be weak and may break. I'm glad it's integrated and part of the "shell pipe". How it could be better: * These are nitpicks but could use some improvement * - Integrated key fob for quick release. The built-in keychain hole is large and durable. However, in my opinion, the pick part itself is not big enough to use it without a tube. Maybe it's just me having big hands, but I feel like it should be used with a snorkel. This means I either have to remove the entire item from the keychain or leave it on the keychain and have the keys in my hand and to my mouth to use them when attached to the tube. If it had some sort of quick release like a spring loaded clip or threads on the keyring portion that would allow quick detachment and reattachment, this product would climb even higher on its own. I would give it a 4.5/5 but some sort of quick release system would make it a 5 for me. Would make a fantastic gift for someone who needs to pull something out of their teeth (or suck their teeth to get food). , uses a toothpick after eating, or wears/uses one of those disposable plastic dental floss.
