My 3 year old daughter just started skating and the laces that came with her boots were awfully long - practically long enough for adult boots, not small size 8 boots. It took me forever and a whole day to lace it up. Thank goodness Revain makes it easy to buy quality laces. The 63" size (at least 30" smaller than what came with my daughter's skates) is perfect, with enough room to grow and use on other skates as she grows. Note: The white laces (the only color that comes in 63" lengths, at least when I bought them) were packaged without plastic and arrived quite dirty with black dust etc from shipping. Dirt is very easy to wash off with water and a paper towel, so don't be discouraged if you come across dirty white laces. Just take 10 seconds to wipe them off and they will be fine.
