The product itself is in a very high quality metal box. However, note that this device does not support CEC (at least with my 4K Apple TV and my Samsung TV). Also, it randomly decides not to work. I'm using Hyperion on a Raspberry Pi, but also tried on my Macbook, nothing displayed on either... Until it happened accidentally. Even if it is not noted here. I didn't need 4K quality on my capture card, I just wanted the colors on the screen. Other than that, it doesn't support lower resolutions, which suits pretty much everyone but me lol. Don't buy this. Get an active HDMI splitter and a cheap 10,000x better capture card.
