Like many laptop owners, I needed a new screen because mine fell and cracked badly. This was the best deal I found to replace my Gateway laptop in terms of overall cost. I just installed it a few days ago and it works just as well if not better than my original screen. Installation was surprisingly easy and a little quick for me. There are many great videos on You Tube to help you through the process. I just went with what I found for a comparable gateway as they are all made the same. The only difficult part was removing the bezel from the screen. This step requires patience and care not to damage the screen casing. I also found that the recommended PC tools aren't really necessary as I could get by with a standard flathead screwdriver, some general purpose precision screwdrivers and a paring knife, otherwise it arrived on time, securely packaged and in brand new condition as advertised. money well spent.
