I can't tell you how much better this heater is than any other heater I've had, including my most recent (Marineland ML90650 Precision Heater for Aquarium, 100 - Watt). At Marineland, I had to keep adjusting it due to slight changes in room temperature, while this heater I installed is pretty much within +/- 0.3 degrees Fahrenheit based on the three temperature sensors in my aquarium. including "La Crosse Technology 926". -25106-Wgb Wet sensor wireless monitoring system that logs readings every 15 minutes. It may not be necessary for those who don't care if their temperature changes a few degrees, but for me/someone who wants a tighter range it's worth every penny.
