Neighbors on either side of my property have cows so I have a lot of flies. Zapper kills flies well, I even got some vapor in the air. The problem is that the plastic frame feels fragile. Like you wouldn't want to throw it on the table fast enough to catch a fly because it looks like it's going to break. I have found that I have better luck with a regular fly swatter because I can move fast enough to catch them off guard when I don't have to worry about the fly swatter breaking. Unfortunately, more flies escape the trap.
