I needed a different light source for my video production and had a lot of experience with a different version of Type-C charger, so I decided to try this one. The upgraded light is not only more powerful, but also has easier-to-use knobs to adjust the brightness. I no longer have to long press the button to change the light intensity! Operations are much faster. The included battery seems to last a long time and I didn't have to charge it after 2 hours of use. I don't have a Canon camera yet, but I would imagine the same type of battery would be useful if I had one.
