Bought this item to deter two squirrels that ate sunflower seeds I had set out for house finches, house sparrows, California jays and goldfinches. Well, the birds wouldn't eat it, but imagine my surprise when I saw a squirrel stuffing this junk into its pouches. I have never seen him/her act like this. Then he went down to the bird bath and drank and drank and drank the water. But he returned the next day looking for more. Note: I've now mixed Hot Meat with Sunflowers to try to lure birds aboard by eating the mixture, but I'm giving up on rodent repellency.
