I don't often give five stars, but this article deserves it. I'm still a relative noob when it comes to satellite radio. So if I had a dashboard mounted antenna, I would lose signal depending on the direction of my car. I tried a different roof antenna but it didn't work properly unless I was facing north or east. behind the headliner, a trip to the A-pillar and Sirius receiver. There is enough cable even for my larger than average Volvo 940 Van. Now I get a full signal regardless of direction, even when driving under tree canopies or between buildings. The antenna is attached to the car with a strong force. Magnet and very low profile to not be affected by wind speed. The approximately 4 inch cable that comes out is secured with automotive branded double sided foam tape. I just followed the procedure, cleaned the area with alcohol and that was it. Even in this harsh New England winter, it's still fully taped. on my car and unless you look for it you probably won't see it.
