These fabric markers are very easy to use, my 10 year old granddaughter and I used them on a plain white t shirt. We were also given a 'training' t-shirt to test out how the markers would look and feel. The key is that you should follow the instructions that come with the markers for the best results. Put some (vinyl tissue paper) inside the shirt between the front and back to keep the colors from bleeding through. And don't hold the tip in one spot for too long, it will bring out too much color. I suggest using a light hand - you can always go over the line or area a second time if needed. That being said, once you start coloring you will see how easy it is and how bright and beautiful the colors are. !
