Ignore negative reviews. This is a Zigbee motion sensor that requires an Aqara hub to function. The Homekit feature is activated by the hub and gives Homekit access to any device connected to the Aqara hub. Here's how Phillips Hue (another Zigbee-based platform) implements Homekit features. It's small and has worked very well so far. Motion registers almost immediately in the Apple Home app. The sensor itself is attractive, unlike many motion sensors. It's just a small cylinder about 1.5 inches high. It comes with a stand that allows you to mount and orient your device the way you want it.
