Review on REED Scraps Leather Garment Cutting by Lori Aguirre

Great cuts! I have never used leather and when I open the box I immediately see the possibilities! I immediately made a pair of shoes for my 12 month old son without even making a dent in the leather pile. I photographed the two largest black pieces and the two shades of brown I ended up with. If you love crafts and want something that makes you smile, buy this! If like my husband you are not into needlework but love the smell of leather, buy this! With what I have left over I think if I'm lucky I can make a pair of boots for my three year old daughter. Then maybe 5 bracelets, 10 necklaces and 20 hair bows and flowers. Not bad at just over $10.4/9. I just sewed my second pair of shoes from these scraps of fabric. The weight of the skin is just perfect for this purpose. Light enough that I can sew multiple layers with a regular sewing machine and leather needle. And heavy enough to support the body of the shoe. Next I'll probably do something with a tan crowbar that's a lot thicker.
