About a year and a half to two years ago, I took my Chihuahua to my annual teeth cleaning. When I picked him up that day, I was told that pre-procedure tests showed he had liver failure. In terms of results, my formerly docile dog gained Puppy Energy about a week after taking the vitamins! When he returned for a follow-up 30 days after his diagnosis, his lab values were back to normal as they have been since. He's still feeling fine (knock on wood!) and has never missed a single dose of this drug. Aside from the fact that I've significantly reduced his favorite high-fat snacks (he likes cheese and peanut butter, but never both), the rest of his diet is pretty much the same as before the diagnosis. He also brushes his teeth twice a year, just for added security.
