Review on 💻 High-Speed USB 2.0 3.0 IDE SATA Hard Drive Converter Cable for 2.5/3.5 Inch Drives by Ken Perry

Synopsis: I have 20 old small IDE hard drives one 250mb I wanted to see what was on them and then wipe them clean before throwing them away I was hoping this would work it doesn't it doesn't have any of these read them. Okay, some might have been toasted, but some were responsive in Win10 Disk Management and showing "No Media". See screenshot. I haven't checked the SATA connections. Yes, I'm pretty computer savvy , so I have them, how to set hard drive jumpers etc. I sent the thing back Otherwise: • The Cube's power cable to the drive is short and taut I kept struggling with it during connection • The IDE connector is oriented that way that the cable interferes with the mains plug. This cable is also rigid. • The IDE power connector is difficult to insert and remove. • There is no on/off switch on the power supply. • There is a push button switch on the IDE/SATA connector. lights up red - but I have no idea if that will do anything. The switch made no functional difference. • Inside is a manual for another product. Nothing for it.
