I bought these shoes ONLY because of the creaking footsteps for my son who is just starting to walk. The FIRST pair I got from them only had a working squeaker. The refund submitted had a replacement pair within 5 days. The second pair didn't even squeak. I can get him shoes for $10. I spent the extra extra for a cute squeaker. My son weighs 28kg at 1 year old. And stomp walks. There's no reason why they can't squeak for him. These shoes are a bad buy. I'm keeping a spare pair just because of the cute little skull pattern.
