Review on MERCIER Bamboo Stainless Steel Butter by Jorge Maertz

Purchased in 2017 and despite very little use the handle on the lid just broke after 3 years. Wrote to Mercier but they claim they don't have spare parts. I recommend staying away from this oiler for other reasons as well. The reservoir is too wide for a typical lubricator. In addition, the need to separate the bottom plate from the wooden platform to wash them separately is another tedious step. In addition, the metal base plate is flat. So if like me you live in a warm climate you have melted butter all over the place which requires washing the wooden floor as well. Not recommended.
