I have had my 55 gallon tank for 25 years now. I would really like to compliment the manufacturer because, well yes, 25 YEARS but I can't remember Hood either. He's 25 and couldn't take it either. I ordered a new lamp for a year but it never fit. I traveled all over town, to search pet supplies and aquariums and couldn't find a hood without buying tank installed this is the 5th and last time I was willing to order wait for delivery be disappointed and then pay to order returning the hood for my trusty tank. This hood is perfection, absolute perfection! Looks perfect. My fish go crazy because the glass is so clear and the light is great, I literally forgot how beautiful my freshwater aquarium used to be. Thank you that you changed my life have. It sounded sad but it's a proud fact The hood is so well made and great. I love it!
