I have to say for the price they were very good! This is quite a long strip of light. I thought this would only cover the top edge of the quilt but I had more than enough to hang down the sides and center as shown in the picture above. pretty fast, so it's a pretty useless setup. It would be nice if they shimmered, but that's pretty decent for the price. These lights are battery powered, which I didn't understand at first. They require 3 AA batteries to work. I can't say how long they will last, but if you don't leave them on all the time they should last quite a while. The benefit of a battery powered flashlight is that you can take it anywhere without being restricted by an outlet. These lanterns are bluish-white in color. They tend to look a little bluer on camera. I tried adjusting the white balance on some photos to get a better match. All in all, these are good, beautiful lamps that add aesthetics to any room.
