Looks much longer and brighter in the picture. It's not terrible, but not exactly what I had in mind. I could only make it go across the room twice in a very small room. It was very bright at first, but within a week it got darker, so I recommend buying some extra batteries. I probably won't buy it again. Oh, and the snowflakes are smaller than expected. I'd bet on a tree to be honest.

I thought these lights were long enough to do anything with them. I could get creative on where to place these lights. I put them on my bookshelf and they looked magical. I thought it was cool that you have the ability to turn the light on and off with a simple switch. It's battery powered, which I knew before buying, so the batteries didn't really matter to anyone interested in it. They are perfect for kids as night lights and room decorations.

I have to say for the price they were very good! This is quite a long strip of light. I thought this would only cover the top edge of the quilt but I had more than enough to hang down the sides and center as shown in the picture above. pretty fast, so it's a pretty useless setup.
