Review on High Quality Charger for Surface Pro 4/3/Go - 36W 12V 2.58A USB Port Cord (Model 1625) by Tony Cole

I bought this to replace the original device that died about 14 months after I had a Surface Pro 4. . 4 months ago I noticed the case peeling off exposing two wires going back to the outlet. The device continued to work, but I keep checking to see if the wires are exposed. For the last two weeks the charging cable between the power converter and the computer had a short in the cable which resulted in me having to manipulate the cable just right to get it working and charging my computer. Overall the product started falling apart at the 14 month mark and the wiring was shorted making it very unreliable at the 18 month mark.
